Happy Hugs and Welcome to Happy Toes Dance!!! I am Ms. Michelle and I am the Artistic Director, Owner, and Instructor for Happy Toes Dance.

I believe that what my Creator has laid out for me is this " For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". I shall walk forward in the certainty that my dance is secure:)

I began dancing at the age of 4 and in 1988 followed my dreams and opened my first studio Michelle's Academy of Dance in Glen Rose. In 2001 I sold my studio and focused on my family for a few years and in 2005 began teaching dance for my original MAOD instructors who went on and opened their own dance academies after MAOD closed. In 2010 I opened Happy Toes Dance and have been blessed with so many wonderful dance families!

Throughout the years I have studied Dance Under Master Dance Classes with Art Stone, Joe Tremaine, Frank Hatchett, Darryl Retter, Luigi, Al Gilbert, Sara Sue Taylor, Janice Barringer, Winifred Branyt, Josh King, Scotty Bilz, Jeff Driggs, Elaine Bender, and Matt Sexton.

I want to personally welcome you to our Happy Toes Dance Family! I am the daughter of Ms. Michelle. I teach for both Glen Rose and Stephenville studios. I have personally been a dancer since the age of 2 and I have taught dance since the age of 16. I have a true passion for dance, teaching, and watching students grow in their dancing abilities! I am also an educator. I have an Associate Degree in Teaching, a Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and I am a Texas Certified Teacher. Academics and learning in all forms is my truest passion. I am the proud mommy to three children including my twin girls, Stella and Annabelle, and my son, Jack. I look forward to teaching your dancer the art of dance!!! We are going to have an AMAZING dance year!!!
